"I've been Googled," she said Monday while cleaning up from a weekend catering gig in the kitchen of her seasonal Route 1 restaurant, Mabe’s Kitchen. "I’ve been Googled and I’ve been referred."
MacLean has been in the food service industry since she was 14 years old. She worked up through the ranks before opening Mabe's Place, a variety store on Jordan Avenue, in 1982.
